Itaquerê Development Institute

Founded in 2000, CECOI – Centro de Convivência Itaquerê (Itaquerê Community Center) was created with the aim of offering education, integration, health and citizenship programs for children and adolescents, creating greater opportunities for growth.

Reading House Project

The library was founded by BIOSEV BIOENERGIA S.A in 1999, with a collection of more than 12,000 books, internet, and a video library available to the entire community. Projects such as: Cordel Literature workshops, Storyteller, Writing, and reading festivals are developed.

The visits program aims to provide students and families with an integration into the production process of BIOSEV BIOENERGIA S.A.

Family Visit

This program allows families to experience a bit of the company’s routine, visiting Agricultural, Industrial, and Hydroelectric areas (a historic landmark of BIOSEV BIOENERGIA S.A, built in 1920), allowing for the appreciation of employees’ daily lives as well as health and safety at work.

School Visits

Since 2005, BIOSEV BIOENERGIA S.A. has partnered with ABAG in the Ribeirão Preto/SP region on an educational program that works on the concept of Agribusiness with teachers and students from the early years of high school. The goal of this program is to introduce fundamental Agribusiness concepts to students and, through visits, enable the connection between theory and practice.
